My own interpretation of the words rebel, as in to be a rebel and rebel, as in to rebel against something. The only prompts for this brief being to interpret it however I saw fit.

As such, I chose to go for a form of “gorilla graphics”, unsolicited design that would be shared through airdrop and be designed to emulate a hack taking over the users phone. This being my choice as a phone is something everyone has and are always being looked at and so is the perfect place to share a message of rebellion.

The main designs used in this were achieved through many runs through a photo scanner to increase the distorted and twisted design as to emulate the all over the place, wild feeling of a rebellion. Along with these the test cards created a felling of the video cutting out and back in, with some looking normal while others included short messages, almost trying to fight through the hack.
